Recent years have seen a small Swiss bicycle spoke manufacturer grow to become an internationally active group of companies with more than 400 customers in 50 countries around the world. The current range of products consists of high-end components for bicycles, motorcycles and medical rehabilitation equipment.

DT Swiss AG was formed through a management buyout from Vereinigte Drahtwerke AG in 1994. The three owners Frank Bockmann, Maurizio D'Alberto and Marco Zingg took this courageous step and share the management of the company. Frank Bockmann is responsible for marketing and sales, Maurizio D'Alberto is responsible for technology and Marco Zingg is responsible for finances and administration. The company is still owned by these three.

The first DT Swiss Hugi hubs are introduced onto the bicycle market. The addition of a new product type is a significant milestone in the development of the company. We participate in more than 20 bike events and exhibitions around the world every year. Whether in rainy Riva del Garda or in hot Las Vegas at the Interbike – we are always looking for THE chance to show off our latest developments and to talk shop with customers and consumers.
